Description:
***Not looking for overqualified candidates with a masters or PHD. Ideally looking for candidates with at least 2 years of an associate degree combined with 2 years of General lab experience/lab background, GDP/GMP experience and or a bachelor's degree also paired with General lab experience/lab background, GDP/GMP experience.

***Looking for local candidates local to the New England area, exclusively as the EW will be coming onsite to the Rhode Island (USRI) location Tuesday – Friday 6:45AM to 5:15PM, 10 hour shift schedule***

***No opportunity for remote work as sampling and testing will be done in the Rhode Island labs for this role.

General lab experience/lab background, GDP/GMP experience, ability to work in teams.
100% onsite - Essential CW

Basic Qualifications        
High school/GED + 2 years work experience or Associates degree and 6 months work experience or Bachelors degree

Job Details: Under minimal supervision, this position will be responsible for activities including microbiology & analytical testing, sample and data management and equipment and instrumentation operation and maintenance in a highly dynamic, team environment. This position will be responsible for one or more of the following activities:

1. Perform sample collection and sample handling to support GMP operations and Environmental/Water monitoring.
2. Perform testing and possible data review for compendia, non-compendia methods, and routine laboratory procedures.
3. Generate complete, accurate, and concise laboratory documentation using electronic systems and laboratory notebooks.
4. Operate and maintain specialized laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
5. Participate in laboratory investigations and audits as necessary.
6. Perform general laboratory housekeeping activities.
7. Maintain training compliance and proficiency.
8. At all times, comply with safety guidelines, cGMPs/CFRs and other applicable regulatory requirements.

Shift: Tuesday – Friday shift schedule.
Skills: Previous lab experience is preferred.

Top 3 Must Have Skill Sets:        
Ability to work in teams.
Ability to learn/train online and in person with an instructor.
Good lab and documentation skills.
Hands on lab experience and relevant educational background.
Nice to have: Biostatic skills, previous pharma or environmental sampling experience.

Day to Day Responsibilities:    
Mentioned above in the description, daily sampling of the clean room and Mfg areas in two Manufacturing buildings, including EM, water, and utility sampling.

Pay Rate  between $29 - $33/Hr on W2 based on experience.
