Compensation: $49/$55 per hour (based on experience)
Summary of the Role
Lead one or more high-priority, complex projects for a big biopharma leader, ensuring delivery within defined scope, quality, timeline, and budget. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, proactively manage risks, and provide status communications to stakeholders and leadership. Oversee cross-functional teams to drive project objectives and maintain momentum throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and monitor comprehensive project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables
- Track progress against established objectives and key dates
- Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and constraints
- Recommend and implement mitigation strategies to resolve issues and roadblocks
- Regularly communicate status, escalate issues, and drive effective decision-making
- Facilitate project team meetings, working sessions, and stakeholder reviews
- Coordinate and direct activities of project team members and cross-functional partners
- Ensure accurate documentation of objectives, deliverables, risks, and key decisions
- Maintain project dashboards, trackers, and reporting tools (e.g., Smartsheet)
- Partner with functional leads to assess resource needs, priorities, and risks
Required Experience & Skills
- Experience leading large-scale, cross-functional projects
- Deep understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and processes
- Hands-on expertise in project management and business analysis methodologies and best practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams) and Smartsheet
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify risks and drive solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with collaboration, document management, and information-sharing platforms
- Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders across different functions and program areas

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables

- Maintain project documentation, including charters, plans, meeting notes, decision logs, and action registers
Basic Qualifications
- Doctorate degree and 3 years of experience
- Masters degree and 5 years of experience
- Bachelors degree and 7 years of experience
- Associates degree and 12 years of experience
- High school diploma / GED and 14 years of experience
