Summary of the Role
As a Supply Chain Manager supporting a large biotech pharmaceutical leader, you will ensure seamless end-to-end supply planning to maintain uninterrupted product supply across a global manufacturing network. Your work will involve analyzing supply and demand, managing network constraints, and developing scenarios to optimize the supply plan. Close partnership with planning leadership and cross-functional stakeholders is essential. This role is highly analytical and process-driven, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, consolidate, and report on demand, supply plans, inventory projections, and KPIs for management and stakeholders.
- Develop and compare scenarios to deliver optimal supply plans considering demand and network constraints.
- Support long-range planning, manage capacity constraints, and communicate tradeoffs.
- Drive alignment across manufacturing sites, supply chain, raw materials, and finance partners during planning cycles.
- Support implementation of continuous improvement initiatives, process improvements, and reporting automation.
- Represent Global Network Planning on cross-functional teams and projects, maintaining proactive stakeholder communication.
- Own planning cycle cadence by collecting inputs, validating assumptions, reconciling gaps, and publishing updated supply and inventory views.
- Build and refresh scenario analyses to stress-test supply plans against various constraints.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Own the planning cycle cadence by collecting inputs, validating assumptions, reconciling gaps, and publishing updated supply and inventory views.
- Build and refresh scenario analyses to stress test supply plans against capacity, material, and non-commercial constraints.
- Prepare concise, leadership-ready summaries highlighting KPIs, key changes, risks, and decisions required.
- Facilitate cross-functional working sessions with manufacturing sites and global or regional partners to resolve constraints and confirm aligned plans.
- Monitor exceptions and emerging risks and recommend mitigation actions such as allocation shifts, campaign timing adjustments, or inventory strategies.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by simplifying processes, standardizing reporting, and contributing to automation and dashboarding initiatives.
Basic Qualifications
- Doctorate degree
- Master’s degree and 2 years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience
- Associate’s degree and 8 years of experience
- High school diploma / GED and 10 years of experience
