Summary of the Role
Join a fast-paced global development team supporting obesity therapeutics operations at a big biopharma leader. This highly organized role focuses on coordinating contracting workflows, driving operational efficiency, and supporting internal teams with business and administrative activities. The ideal candidate brings initiative, excellent communication, and takes full ownership of tasks from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive contract workflow processes from request through execution, ensuring timely completion and accurate documentation
- Work with Responsible Amgen Employee (RAE) in preparing Confidential Disclosure Agreements (CDAs), Fee-For-Service (FFS) agreements, and Purchase Orders (POs)
- Act as subject matter expert on contracting and invoicing processes for the team
- Develop, document, and provide training on contracting and invoicing policies and processes
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional groups including legal, contract operations, and compliance
- Support business operations: prepare meeting materials, assist with new-hire onboarding, and coordinate team communications
- Provide comprehensive administrative support: calendar management, oversee team training compliance, and assist with expense reporting and travel booking
- Organize and help plan internal social events as needed
- Identify and implement process improvements to drive team efficiency
- Maintain high engagement and proactive oversight across all assigned areas
Required Experience & Skills

- High attention to detail and capability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheet, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and OneNote
- Experience coordinating contracts and/or managing invoicing processes
- Comfort working in ambiguous situations and adapting quickly to changing priorities
- Capacity to create process documentation and deliver team training

- Experience working with legal, contract operations, or compliance functions in a biotech or pharmaceutical environment

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Actively manage and monitor all contract and invoicing activities, providing timely status updates
- Support team with calendar management, expense reporting, and travel arrangements as needed
- Assist with business operations such as preparing meeting materials, supporting new team member onboarding, and updating communication platforms
Basic Qualifications
- Masters degree
- Bachelors degree and 2 years of experience
- Associates degree and 6 years of experience
- High school diploma / GED and 8 years of experience
