Project Manager

Location: Hybrid - Tampa, FL

Employment Type: Contingent Worker (Contract, W2)

Contract Length: 12 months (possible extension)

Compensation: $44/$48 per hour (based on experience)


Summary of the Role

Lead complex, high-profile, non-technical projects for a big biopharma leader, overseeing scope, quality, timing, and cost to meet evolving business objectives. Regularly coordinate with management and cross-functional project teams. Support resource allocation and project development from requirement gathering through to implementation planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage large-scale, strategic non-technical projects while adhering to defined objectives and constraints
  • Guide all project phases including requirements, analysis, feasibility, design, and implementation planning
  • Coordinate and direct activities of project team members and cross-functional resources
  • Document project requirements and ensure objectives are met
  • Allocate internal and external resources effectively to ensure timely project delivery
  • Collaborate regularly with management and key stakeholders
  • Apply best practices in business process development and change management
  • Utilize MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio for project tracking and documentation

Required Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience managing medium to large-scale projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Solid grasp of project management methodologies and best practices
  • Experience leading project teams and working cross-functionally
  • Strong understanding of business process improvement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced skills with MS Project, MS Word, Visio, PowerPoint, and Excel

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Optimize OTC Platforms by managing and evolving SAP, EDI, Salesforce CRM, and AI solutions through enhancements, training, and troubleshooting
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives focused on automation, service excellence, and scalable digital capabilities
  • Collaborate with Quality, Compliance, Finance, Commercial, Technology IS, and vendors to optimize service processes and reduce friction points

Basic Qualifications

  • Doctorate degree or
  • Master’s degree and 2 years of experience or
  • Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience or
  • Associate’s degree and 8 years of experience or
  • High school diploma / GED and 10 years of experience
