This laboratory-based Scientist position focuses on developing and executing cell-based high-content imaging assays to support small molecule and siRNA drug discovery pipeline.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cell biology, immunology, and molecular biology, with expertise in cell culture techniques, cell treatment, and transfection. Proficiency in immunohistochemistry staining, high-content imaging analysis, and lab automation is highly desirable. Experience with data analysis and visualization platforms such as Genedata Screener, Tibco Spotfire, and GraphPad Prism is a plus.
We are seeking a motivated scientist with a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related field, with relevant postdoctoral experience preferred. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot complex technical challenges and work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal abilities, are essential.
This position will be 100% Onsite - Lab based in A South San Francisco (USSF) location.
No remote is possible. EW will be expected to report onsite Monday-Friday 8 AM - 5 PM or from 9 AM - 6 PM. Candidates must be local to South San Francisco and comfortable commuting.
Basic Qualifications:
- 0+ Years w/ Relevant PhD or equivalent (where applicable) 2+ Years w/ Relevant MS or equivalent 4+ Years w/ Relevant BS or equivalent Advanced and proficient understanding and use of technical principles, theories, and concepts to perform expansive range of work in a role. Basic knowledge of related and adjacent disciplinary areas.

Pay Rate between $40 - $46/Hr on W2 based on experience.
