Note:

• Candidates must be local to Thousand, Oaks California, Only*
• Monday-Friday 8 hours per day/40 hours per week. Normal business hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A strong skillset of standard cell and molecular biology experimental design and techniques (e.g., mammalian cell culture, western blotting, molecular cloning, qPCR, flow cytometry, etc) and data analysis (e.g., GraphPad Prism)
• Research experience in cancer biology, genetics, or related field
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexibility to work in teams to achieve changing project goals and meet timelines

Basic Qualifications        

• A newly graduated biomedical PhD-trained student or master’s degree with at least 2 years of mammalian biomedical research experience will be successful in this role. Would consider lower education with 4+ years of drug discovery experience.

Top 3 Must Have Skill Sets:        

• A strong skillset of standard cell and molecular biology experimental design and techniques (e.g. cell culture, western blotting, immunofluorescence, qPCR, flow cytometry, etc). Experience with high-throughput assays (e.g. CTG, AlphaLISA, MSD) is a plus.
• Mammalian cell culture work will be required, and relevant experience is highly desired.
• Experience with modern techniques for assaying gene function (e.g. RNAi and CRISPR approaches).

Pay Rate  between $37 - $42/Hr on W2 based on experience.
