Summary of the Role
Join a collaborative team focused on project management and operational excellence for a leading biotech pharmaceutical organization’s Global Engineering division. You will drive key workstreams, develop and execute strategies, and support continuous improvement initiatives across engineering functions. This role offers unique exposure to major, cross-functional programs and an opportunity to deliver results that directly impact business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and drive completion of key workstreams and project deliverables
- Analyze complex issues and provide actionable solutions using critical thinking and established methodologies
- Deliver high-quality outputs to meet project milestones, budgets, and quality expectations
- Promote operational excellence and continuous improvement within Global Engineering
- Assess client needs, develop recommendations, and flexibly implement improvement options
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs, increase productivity, and improve cycle time
- Lead or support OE and productivity improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and problem-solving tools
- Prepare and co-facilitate workshops on operational excellence, productivity, and strategy development
- Support Engineering assessments, technical feasibility, and cost analysis for potential projects
- Contribute to the development and periodic review of Global Engineering strategy and transformation goals
Required Experience & Skills
- At least 2-3 years direct experience in management consulting
- OE Yellow Belt certification
- Proficiency with Smartsheets, PowerBI, or similar project management tools
- Extensive knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Track record of successful project completion within consulting or industry
- Experience working independently and on cross-functional teams
- Advanced problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability
- Ability to structure and plan workstreams for diverse departmental needs
- Strong command of technical applications and automation tools
- Ability to synthesize research and analysis into logical recommendations
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with large biotech pharmaceutical organizations
- Prior experience with big biopharma leader projects
- Experience in large organization consulting

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Independently lead various project assignments from strategy through execution for Engineering departments
- Plan, develop, and facilitate workshops as needed
- Support development of standardized workshop and project management tools
- Contribute to annual goal planning and development across Engineering
Basic Qualifications
- Doctorate degree
- Master’s degree and 2 years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience
- Associate’s degree and 8 years of experience
- High school diploma / GED and 10 years of experience
