MCS Supply Chain Associate

Employment Type: Contingent Worker (Contract, W2)

Contract Length: 6 months (possible extension)

Compensation: $28/$32 per hour (based on experience)

Summary of the Role

Join a big biopharma leader to support warehouse inventory management and material handling operations critical to biopharmaceutical manufacturing. As a Supply Chain Associate, you will ensure accurate flow of materials needed for clinical production by executing inventory cycle counts, shipping, and documentation. This role requires precise adherence to cGMP, SOPs, and safety requirements in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct inventory cycle counts to maintain accurate material records
  • Support day-to-day clinical shipping and distribution operations onsite
  • Prepare clinical materials for outbound shipment
  • Coordinate routine logistics to ensure timely shipment execution
  • Complete shipping and distribution documentation in SAP or related systems
  • Collaborate with warehouse and distribution teams to resolve operational issues and set priorities
  • Perform material handling, including lifting materials up to 35 lbs
  • Work in temperature-controlled or cold storage environments as needed
  • Operate Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIV) safely after appropriate training
  • Follow SOPs, cGMP requirements, and departmental policies at all times

Required Experience & Skills

  • Understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and adherence to SOPs
  • Warehouse experience in a regulated environment
  • Material handling experience with strong attention to detail
  • Proficient computer skills including experience with inventory/ERP systems
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Forklift experience
  • Previous experience at a large biopharma organization

Basic Qualifications

  • High school/GED and 2 years work or military experience
  • Associates and 6 months work or military experience
