Supply Chain Manager

Location: Onsite - Easton, PA

Employment Type: Contingent Worker (Contract, W2)

Contract Length: 18 months (possible extension)

Compensation: $58/$66 per hour (based on experience)

Summary of the Role

Serve as the primary liaison between a big biopharma leader's manufacturing sites and a 3rd Party Logistics provider (3PL), ensuring compliance with operational, quality, and regulatory requirements. Develop and oversee on-site operations strategies, drive continuous process improvements, and support the manufacturing network through optimal raw material distribution. Foster cross-functional collaboration and support business decisions impacting US raw materials distribution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage partnership with 3PL to align logistics operations with organizational goals
  • Develop, execute, and refine on-site operations strategies with 3PL, manufacturing, planning, and transportation teams
  • Lead SAP and LSP systems integration; track and present performance metrics
  • Coordinate cross-functional work streams spanning supply chain, procurement, quality, and technical operations
  • Facilitate resolution of warehouse quality issues and shipment/ERP exceptions
  • Oversee project management efforts for process improvements
  • Communicate inventory status and coordinate advanced transactions as needed
  • Support manufacturing through troubleshooting, task prioritization, and corrective actions
  • Ensure cGMP and safety compliance across logistics operations
  • Prepare for and support regulatory inspections and audits

Required Experience & Skills

  • Demonstrated experience with cGMP operations
  • Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
  • Proficient in managing operational flows with third-party providers
  • Experience in cross-functional project management within logistics or supply chain
  • Ability to resolve exceptions and oversee quality records
  • Familiarity with SAP or LSP system integrations

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Manage operational flow with the 3rd party provider, prioritize inbound and outbound activities, coordinate cross-functional team efforts directed toward the 3PL warehouse, monitor and resolve exceptions, and maintain ownership of quality records.

Basic Qualifications

  • Doctorate degree
  • Master’s degree and 2 years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience
  • Associate’s degree and 8 years of experience
  • High school diploma / GED and 10 years of experience
