Compensation: $35/$40 per hour (based on experience)
Summary of the Role
Join a big biopharma leader as a Supply Chain Operations Specialist supporting essential warehouse and supply chain activities in a 3PL environment. The role demands hands-on responsibility for raw material receipts, documentation, system integration, and outbound coordination. You will leverage your ERP (preferably SAP) and data management skills to ensure efficient, compliant operations while partnering cross-functionally to support manufacturing network needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the raw materials receipt tracker for real-time receipt lifecycle and quality workflow visibility
- Develop, maintain, and monitor purchase orders and inbound shipment schedules to ensure timely material availability
- Create and coordinate weekly outbound schedules, including delivery creation and transportation coordination with 3PL
- Ensure accurate GMP documentation and data entry for all shipping and receiving activities
- Support on-site operations strategy in partnership with 3PL leadership and relevant company teams
- Lead SAP and LSP system integration activities; prepare and present dashboard and KPI metrics
- Participate in cross-functional workstreams with accounting, planning, procurement, quality, and technical operations teams
- Facilitate timely resolution of quality issues (damages, errors, temperature excursions) within the 3PL warehouse
- Investigate and resolve shipment/ERP exceptions, closing associated quality records
- Drive continuous process improvement through project management, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
Required Experience & Skills
- Experience in supply chain or warehouse operations (receiving, documentation, inbound/outbound coordination, ERP transactions) in regulated environments
- Strong hands-on ability with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Proficient with Smartsheet and Excel; able to manage high-volume data with accuracy
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving discrepancies between WMS and ERP systems
- Excellent organizational skills; capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, startup-like environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of cGMP standards and warehousing best practices
- Ability to work reliably onsite and execute hands-on warehouse tasks

- Experience handling multiple priorities in fluid environments with time pressures
- Familiarity with regulatory guidelines such as GxP and SOX
- Advanced skills in SAP, Microsoft Office Suite, CDOCS, QMTS, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Spotfire)
- PMP and/or CPIM certification
- Experience supporting clinical study supply chains
Top 3 Must Have Skills
1. ERP/WMS experience (preferably SAP)

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the raw materials receipt tracker solution for real-time updates
- Monitor incoming purchase orders and inbound shipment schedules
- Coordinate weekly outbound shipments, investigate inventory status, and schedule transportation
- Manage shipping/receiving documentation and ensure correct GMP process execution
Basic Qualifications
- Master’s Degree OR
- Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of Life Science or Business experience (preferably in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry) OR
- Associate’s Degree and 6 years of Life Science or Business experience (preferably in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry) OR
- High school diploma/GED and 8 years of Life Science or Business experience (preferably in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry)
