Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • The Graphic Designer will help conceptualize, prototype and build graphics for internal audiences.
  • In most cases, the Graphic Designer's work will be used in web-based training courses for an internal Amgen audience.
  • As such, the Designer will work closely with instructional designers and project managers.
  • This work may include the look and feel/visual theme for a course, screen layouts, development of actual graphic assets (including a consistent treatment for photo assets).

The eLearning Graphic Designer will serve as the in-house graphic resource for Global Learning Solutions (GLS) Instructional Design team and the Media Development team.
As such, the eLearning Graphic Designer will be responsible for the design and development of layouts and graphics for a variety of purposes. Clients/team members will provide specifications for the graphics required and the

Graphic Designer will be expected to deliver those images with a minimum of supervision.

This is a very fast-past and dynamic environment. Graphic designer must have extensive experience designing for eLearning courses, proactive communication skills, an ability to juggle the demands of multiple projects and clients, and the commitment to meet project deadlines.
