Associate Project Management

Top 3 Must Have Skill Sets:    
  • 1-2 years Project management (preferred Amgen)
  • Corporate experience (high volume project management experience)
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Day to Day Responsibilities:    
  •     Perform as project associate within Worldwide Compliance and Business Ethics on projects in support of the Compliance Training team
  • Project management of all aspects of multiple initiatives
  • Structure, scope, and solve complex problems
  • Translate existing business processes into written, repeatable steps
  • Liaise with department staff to obtain continued input and feedback on needs and/or issues associated with projects
  • Implement processes to organize information in a way that will enable team to easily access archived electronic materials and processes
  • Ensure project work complies with relevant requirements and guidelines
  • Manage multiple tasks and effectively set priorities

Summary
  • WC&BE Training is seeking a Project Management Associate.
  • This individual will be responsible for overall coordination, completion of project-oriented work efforts.
  • Establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies for the training department to ensure projects are delivered on time, adhere to high quality standards and meet department expectations.
  • Ensures constant communication with training leads and associates impacted by the assigned tasks.
  • Assists the training department in identifying and prioritizing opportunities for utilizing specific tools to achieve the goals of the department. Must possess project management soft skills for process improvement efforts.
  • This is an individual contributor role without human resource management responsibilities (e.g., hiring, performance management).
  • Manages one or more projects of medium to high complexity.
  • Capability to gather project requirements and adhere to project timelines
  • Ability to work cooperatively within a team
  • Competent in handling multiple responsibilities, priorities, tasks, and projects simultaneously
  • Good organizational skills and detail-oriented
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Capacity to independently own and progress projects through completion
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Prior experience within a regulated document management system (e.g., Veeva) – understanding workflows and routing documents for approval
