Ideal candidate: 
  • Experienced working in a animal laboratory setting working with animal tissues. Someone early into their career with a strong growth mindset.
  • Elisa laboratory experience is a major plus.

Job Responsibilities
  • The responsibilities of the successful candidate will be to independently prepare tissue samples for bioanalytical quantitation of large molecule protein and nucleic acid therapeutics by immunoassay and mass spectroscopy in support of drug discovery programs.
  • This will involve working as a member of the bioanalytical group and being responsible for cutting, weighing, and homogenizing preclinical tissue samples.
  • This role requires an individual be highly organized and have the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Other responsibilities include communication of results to team members and electronic laboratory notebook keeping of results.

Basic Qualifications    
  • 1+ Years w/ Relevant MS OR equivalent 3+ Years w/ Relevant BS OR equivalent Complete understanding and use of technical principles, theories, and concepts to perform a wide range of work in a role.

Top 3 Must Have Skill Sets:
  • entry level position so specific skills not required, but ability to follow instructions, attention to detail, and willingness to learn will result in success
  • Elisa laboratory experience is a major plus.
  • Previous hands on experience with animal tissues.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • Prepare biological samples for downstream analytical workflows - weigh sample, add appropriate level of buffer, homogenize, aliquot into plates.

PAY RATE : $36/Hr on W2.
