Reporting Managing incoming inbox requests, engaging suppliers and Amgen stakeholders for Archival and Retrieval tasks
Archival task to include:
Facilitate the uploading of assets
Confirming appropriate metadata for assets to ensure accurate usage rights
Quality control of digital assets before approval for use
Retrieval task to include:
Facilitates retrieval of previously cataloged digital assets via manual process
Inventory management of data (hard drives, cloud, BOX and server,SFTP)
Advise on DAM activities
The Digital Asset Management Coordinator is responsible for transactions to quality control (QC) archived content and perform retrievals of assets to ensure integrity of process and security of the database.
The Digital Asset Management Coordinator will also advise on the evolution of the process and database as well as troubleshooting any issues on behalf of the users.
Digital Asset Management Coordinator will act at all times to assure the highest level of ethics, professionalism and personal performance possible, work enthusiastically to meet or exceed all performance goals.
Digital Asset Management Coordinator, to fully support Amgen’s process and good relationships with Suppliers who archive and retrieve assets.
The primary role of the Digital Asset Management Coordinator is to:
Support consolidation of 2 inboxes into one and manage requests and change management during evolution
Advise in developing Archive/Retrieval QC standards
Assist in authoring process training, standards and procedural documentation
Perform archive QC ensuring proper categorization of assets/retrievals including back log or currently pending workload
Review and approve for use, assets with Usage Rights for proper retrieval access including images, mechanicals, print specs, fonts, video, audio and digital reference files.
Facilitate the uploading of assets, quality control of digital metadata for assets to ensure accurate usage rights before approval for use per process
Facilitate retrieval of previously cataloged digital assets
Review workflows and automations for improvements.
Refine processes and provide training to Users.
Communicate regularly with technical, applications and operational staff to ensure database integrity and security.
Ability to communicate effectively, both in person and in writing.

Education and Experience
2-year associate degree or equivalent in Digital Asset Management or Library Science
Ability to speak, read, and write in the English language
5 years of experience in Mac based applications
Attention to detail
Knowledge of offset and digital printing standards
Knowledge of web based files, display and multi-media requirements
Ability to understand and use graphic applications:
Adobe Creative Suite / Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
MAC software applications
Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, Audacity or other graphics and media editing software not a requirement but a definite plus
Basic understanding of remote networking to communicate between locations (Box, FTP, Server structure)
Familiarity working within different Digital Asset Management Systems (DAM)
Knowledge of Veeva Platform a plus
