Development and maintenance of medical communications content, including written medical information letters, verbal FAQs, and slide decks
Interface with a wide range of managers and cross functional departments.
Represents the full service of promotional and medical communications activities to support development of Amgen communications for both for healthcare professionals and patients/consumers for key Amgen brands.
Person is responsible for all account management and project management personnel and activities to support medical and consumer communications and integrated agency activities for Amgen brands.
Working with limited supervision, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing high quality, globally-relevant, scientifically rigorous resources that adhere to internal guidelines, SOPs, policies and industry regulations.
This will include, but not limited to, development of product-specific medical information resources, content for clinical trial support, creation of congress deliverables, development of slide decks to support regional field medical teams, advisory boards, internal training, congress symposia/product theaters, etc., development of scientific content for online resources (e.g. websites, microsites, virtual congresses), and disease state education.
This role requires the ability to collaborate in a dynamic environment with multiple global and regional cross-functional teams.
PhD in a life science, Pharm D, MD or MSc with directly related experience.
Broad scientific knowledge and specific knowledge relevant to immuno-oncology in both Hematology and Solid Tumor Oncology therapeutic areas.
Experience with interpretation of clinical and pre-clinical data and generation of science-based materials. Biotech industry/marketing experience ; Sr. management experience
