Top 3 Must Have Skill Sets:    

Mammalian cell culture (working with cell culture experience is a MUST).
RNA & DNA extraction from cells and tissues.
Performing PCR or real-time PCR experiments (does not need to be digital PCR but have PCR experience is highly preferred).
Molecular biology background.

Day to Day Responsibilities:    

Execute and document experimental plans and laboratory procedures timely with great attention to details.
Execute data analysis and trouble-shooting with guidance.
Performing RNA and DNA extraction from mammalian cell lines and tissues, and related quantitative PCR/digital PCR.
Perform mammalian cell line maintenance, lentivirus transduction, Flow cytometry analysis, and cell-based molecular biology and biochemical assays.
Present data internally and communicate effectively with colleagues.
Operate and maintain lab equipment.

PAY RATE : $32-$36/hr on W2
