1) Feedback ---- lack the grounding in statistical knowledge. Some of the candidates were more data managers or statistical programmers – it is important that the candidate has the statistical degree

2) Several of the candidates had been previously submitted (some times on multiple occasions for this role). I am aware that there have been lay-offs recently for companies in the bay area and would like to make sure that the agencies were are using are advertising our role. I would like to make sure we are visible to these candidates who may be fresh to looking for a role.

The skillset that we seem to be missing from many of the candidates is the grounding in statistics. Several of the candidates appeared more statistical programmers with limited theoretic knowledge, than the statisticians that we require.

Day to Day Responsibilities:                                                
Within the first 30 days a successful placement will fully understand how Amgen performs Centralized Statistical Monitoring (CSM) and able to perform the activities independently.
