Top 3 Must Have Skill Sets:    
  • Chromatography (SEC HPLC, CEX HPLC, Glycan, Peptide Map)
  • Capillary Electrophoresis (rCE SDS, nr CE SDS, cIEF)
  • Good documentation practice
Day to Day Responsibilities:            
  • Follow safety guidelines, cGMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and other applicable regulatory requirements
  • Generate complete, accurate, and concise laboratory documentation using electronic systems and laboratory notebooks
  • Ensures that facilities, equipment, materials, organization, processes, procedures and products follow cGMP practices and other applicable regulations
  • Operate laboratory equipment and instrumentation
  • Performs review and approval of assays, documents and records
  • Supports Continual Improvement initiatives
  • Alerts management of quality, compliance, supply and safety risks
  • Participate in laboratory investigations
  • Perform general laboratory housekeeping activities
  • Completes required assigned training to permit carry through of required tasks
  • Performs additional duties as specified by management
Under general supervision, this position will perform routine procedures and testing in support of the HPLC and CE (Capillary Electrophoresis) group. This position will be responsible for one or more of the following activities: - Performing routine laboratory procedures - Routine analytical testing - Documenting, computing, compiling, interpreting and entering data - Maintaining and operating specialized equipment - Initiating and / or implementing changes in controlled documents. Must learn and comply with safety guidelines and cGMPs/CFRs which includes, but is not limited to, the maintenance of training records, laboratory documentation, written procedures, building monitoring systems and laboratory log books. Skills: some lab experience is preferred.
