Day to Day Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will work within the Large Molecule ADME & Immunoassays sub-groups. Day to day duties include immunoassay design/optimization to support pre-clinical PKPD study sample analysis needs, with an emphasis on quantitation of therapeutic proteins in plasma, serum, and complex matrices; cell culture, including cell-based activity assay.

The Department of Pharmacokinetics and Drug Metabolism (PKDM) seeks an Associate-level Scientist to support the discovery and development of safe and effective medicines by elucidating the ADME and PK/PD properties of novel therapeutic drug candidates. The position will require the design and implementation of bioanalytical immunoassays to quantitate protein antibody therapeutics in plasma, tissues, and other biological matrices from preclinical animal studies to support our pipelines. The position demands a detail-oriented scientist to perform experiments, organize data and analyze results under minimal supervision. Additionally, timely communication of PK results to project team representatives working within a highly collaborative pre-clinical research environment is essential to the candidates success. A degree in Biology, Biochemistry or Analytical Chemistry or equivalent is desired. Additional experience working in Biopharmaceutical research will be considered favorably.
