Instructional Designer

Remote – Any U.S. Time Zone – Standard business hours

Join a large biotech pharmaceutical leader as an Instructional Designer supporting a high-impact learning and compliance initiative. You will work closely with subject matter experts to create and revise engaging, interactive training content, ensuring alignment with learning objectives and compliance requirements. This role is ideal for an experienced instructional design professional with expertise in industry-standard tools and a proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop simplified instructional materials for online courses related to clinical trials

  • Create and revise interactive storyboards, simulations, and multimedia elements to enhance the learning experience

  • Ensure all instructional content aligns with learning objectives, instructional design principles, and best practices for effective online learning

  • Manage project timelines and coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of course materials

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, to achieve project goals

  • Contribute as part of a team of instructional designers on fast-moving projects with evolving needs


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, instructional technology, or a related field

  • Minimum 7 years of instructional design experience with a focus on creating interactive content


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exceptional communication and strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects in a cross-functional environment

  • Mastery of tools such as Articulate Rise & Storyline, Captivate, and Adobe Illustrator

  • Experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, GxP, or other highly regulated industries

  • Demonstrated expertise in developing engaging, compliant training content

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, instructional technology, or related field preferred

  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered


Open Rate - W2 based on experience.
