Summary of the Role
Join a large biotech pharmaceutical leader to design and deliver role-specific, competency-based learning for R&D teams. As an individual contributor with minimal supervision, you’ll assess needs across clinical operations, data management, biostatistics, regulatory, and safety, then create/curate training that moves staff from “trained” to proficient quickly and measurably.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with R&D client groups to assess gaps; translate needs into learning objectives and curricula.
Design, develop, and orchestrate adult-learning programs for onboarding, upskilling, and transformation initiatives.
Build training/learning assets; define success metrics and measure outcomes.
Collaborate cross-functionally (clinical ops, DM, CTMS, biostats, regulatory, safety) to align content and delivery.
Establish and maintain learning plans; coordinate with LMS admins for assignment and tracking.
Document methods, decisions, and results; operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
Required Experience & Skills
Proven expertise in adult learning / instructional design for R&D contexts (not purely LMS course building).
Strong stakeholder interviewing, facilitation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Ability to set vision into executable learning experiences; excellent written/verbal communication.
Hands-on industry experience in biotech/pharma R&D preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Background partnering across clinical operations, data management, CTMS, biostatistics, regulatory, or safety.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance/ethics within life sciences.
Master’s in Educational Leadership & Policy (accepted) or related discipline.
