Project Manager

Location: Remote - Thousand Oaks, CA

Employment Type: Contingent Worker (Contract, W2)

Contract Length: 6 months (possible extension)

Compensation: $42/$48 per hour (based on experience)

Summary of the Role

Support multiple workstreams within Global Development Operations through effective day-to-day coordination, execution, and tracking. This individual contributor role ensures operational processes and time-sensitive requests progress reliably by maintaining status, owners, deadlines, and follow-up actions. Collaboration with leaders and teams across the organization is critical to ensure information flow and timely execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain workstream trackers, dashboards, calendars, and supporting documentation for easy stakeholder access
  • Coordinate recurring activities such as leadership meeting prep, action tracking, goals and measures updates, hiring dashboards, and input collection for budget/forecast
  • Track contingent worker and resource requests, backfills, approvals, and follow-ups; escalate missing information or delays
  • Reconcile inputs from multiple sources and trackers, identify discrepancies, and prepare summary reports for review
  • Liaise with functional owners, regional heads, Finance, HR, and others to gather updates, clarify handoffs, and meet deadlines
  • Prepare agendas, meeting materials, status and decision-support reports using established formats
  • Identify and highlight risks, overdue actions, resource/data gaps, and process issues for prompt resolution
  • Document processes, decisions, and handoffs to enhance continuity and team visibility

Required Experience & Skills

  • Strong organization and ability to drive follow-through across concurrent workstreams and deadlines
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills to request updates and summarize status for various audiences
  • Experience maintaining trackers, dashboards, reports, and process documentation with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams); experience with Smartsheet or similar tools is a plus
  • Good judgment in managing sensitive business and workforce information
  • Ability to work independently, raise issues proactively, and adapt to changing needs

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Maintain up-to-date trackers and dashboards for all workstreams
  • Coordinate recurring meetings, collect and reconcile operational inputs, and track action items
  • Interface with functional partners to collect updates and ensure deliverables are met
  • Prepare meeting materials and concise reports for leadership
  • Promptly flag issues, risks, or overdue items to GDO leaders

Basic Qualifications

  • Doctorate degree
  • Master’s degree and 2 years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience
  • Associate’s degree and 8 years of experience
  • High school diploma / GED and 10 years of experience
