Project Management Coordinator

Location: Remote - Newbury Park, CA

Employment Type: Contingent Worker (Contract, W2)

Contract Length: 2 months (possible extension)

Compensation: $25/$28 per hour (based on experience)

Summary of the Role

Join the Knowledge Advancement and Insights (KAI) team to drive digital transformation and support organizational change management at a large biotech pharmaceutical leader. As a contractor, you will lead project management activities for a new digital application, shaping assets that accelerate the adoption of advanced tools and processes. This short-term position provides the opportunity to contribute directly to evolving how cross-functional teams operate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project manage the development and rollout of a new digital application
  • Organize and document user requirements in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Facilitate effective meetings and engage with product owners to define user stories
  • Create change management communications, training materials, and adoption resources
  • Develop onboarding and upskilling assets for project management processes
  • Utilize AI and digital technologies to optimize workflows
  • Support the evolution of digital transformation and ways of working across teams

Required Experience & Skills

  • Experience managing projects using Agile methodologies and Jira
  • Demonstrated ability to develop training materials and digital processes (PDFs, videos, etc.)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of direct experience in Project Management
  • 5 or more years of Agile or Jira experience

3. Ability to create training materials or digital processes (PDFs, videos, etc.)

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the PDT Runway Product Team
  • Develop change management assets to drive tool and process adoption
  • Build learning and onboarding resources for project management upskilling

Basic Qualifications

  • Associate degree and 2 years of experience
  • 2 years in a technical school setting with hands-on experience
  • High school diploma / GED and 4 years of experience
