Organizational Effectiveness Manager
Location: Remote - Thousand Oaks, CA
Employment Type: Contingent Worker (Contract, W2)
Contract Length: 8 months (possible extension)
Compensation: $60/$69 per hour (based on experience)
Summary of the Role
Join a big biopharma leader as a Technology Organizational Effectiveness (OE) Manager specializing in organizational change management and communications. In this fully remote position, you will develop and deliver impactful change management and communications strategies that drive technology transformation across the organization. You will consult cross-functional product teams to ensure successful adoption of new processes, systems, and ways of working.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute organizational change management and communications strategies for technology initiatives
- Lead projects and consult with product teams on successful change adoption practices
- Draft, review, and send targeted content and communications related to technology change plans
- Create and maintain comprehensive communication and enablement plans
- Collaborate with sponsors, stakeholders, and project teams to align goals and objectives
- Analyze stakeholder feedback and recommend agile adjustments to change strategies
- Identify potential business disruptions, assess their impacts, and propose mitigation tactics
- Leverage Microsoft Office tools to create and deliver materials supporting change management
Required Experience & Skills
- More than five years of experience in organizational change management and communications
- Demonstrated skills in developing actionable, targeted communication and enablement strategies
- Proven problem-solving skills with ability to offer practical solutions
- Experience working in dynamic, fast-changing environments
- High proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and execute communication and enablement plans
- Meet with sponsors, stakeholders, and project teams to align and deliver on objectives
- Draft and distribute content supporting change initiatives
- Analyze feedback to refine and update change strategies
- Anticipate and mitigate potential disruptions to project goals
Basic Qualifications
- Doctorate degree OR Master’s degree and 4 years Change Management and Communications experience
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of Change Management and Communications experience
- Associate’s degree and 8 years of Change Management and Communications experience
- High school diploma / GED and 10 years of Change Management and Communications experience
