Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • Work with GHE project teams to support publication process including but not limited to:
  • Distributing publication invitation letters via online portal
  • Adding author acceptance letters to the APPEAR system
  • Participating in publication kickoff meetings and documenting meeting minutes
  • Adding content to the APPEAR system by author name to demonstrate substantial contributions
  • Review monitoring APPEAR record for completeness and accuracy
  • Highlighting issues / concerns to senior team members
  • Preparing attestation forms for review with publication RAEs
Summary:
Support project management and project coordination activities in support of publication tracking and compliance within Global Health Economics. Role involves verifying publication milestones with GHE publication leads to ensure accuracy, including scope of projects, timelines and internal review processes. Provide support to GHE publication leads by distributing and managing author engagement activities, participating and documenting kick-off meeting minutes, adding documents to the publication tracking system, gathering author acceptance letters, and supporting compliance review / monitoring inquiries.Provide teams with status updates and communicate publication process standards
Experience of database management and managing processes is optimal
Strong project management and organizational skills as well as a keen attention to detail are very important. Coordination with the project team and project manager is essential. MS Office proficiency;
APPEAR and prior publication / media development experience is preferred; strong written and verbal skills

Basic Educational Requirement:
  • High-school diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years of prior work experience preferably at Amgen
