Day to Day Responsibilities:     
Partner with the Commercialization organization to support global and cross functional IS projects. Be an active participant in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to include: business client expectation and requirement scope management, process and systems analysis, requirements elicitation, articulating system solutions and approaches for addressing business needs, and supporting the development of business cases for proposed solutions, as well as delivering the solution. Ability to gain in-depth business domain knowledge, perform business modeling, facilitate process mapping and business requirements gathering sessions for medium complex and multi-segment business processes, and manage client expectations.

Summary
Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills, including demonstrated experience presenting technology recommendations from a business perspective (analysis, customer service, change management and (e.g. conflict resolution)
Ability to work with internal business clients to understand their business processes, manage scope of work/expectations and suggest/recommend IS solutions
Knowledge of, and experience with, implementing and supporting Product & Portfolio Management (Timeline & Schedule, Resource Management, Risk Management, Portfolio Prioritization, Asset Valuation) tools in a complex, multi-functional environment
Drug Development process is a plus.

Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs. Possesses expertise in the business unit(s) they support, as well as, an understanding of the IT organization?s systems and capabilities. Analyzes business partner?s operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes and functions. Assists in the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology. Translates high level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and manages changes to such specifications. Educates the IT organization on the direction of the business. Negotiates agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between business unit(s) and IT from initial requirements to final implementation. Possesses an understanding of technological trends and uses this knowledge to bring solutions to business units supported to enhance the enterprise?s competitive edge. May make recommendations for buy versus build decision.
