Day to Day Responsibilities:
The Site Training Coordinator will be accountable for:
  • Planning and coordination of all new hire orientation events held at the site
  • Liaison with Amgen training partners, e.g. Conduent, training vendors
  • Provide training coordination support to functional Learning Professionals and HR Business Partner covering the ACC. This includes: functional technical training, management development and career development programs
  • Customer service for program participants and clients
  • Production & distribution of site related training activity metrics
  • Site Training Plan
  • Production and maintenance of an integrated site training plan in partnership with HR and Learning professionals
  • LMS assignment set up and maintenance for site training activities
Training Event Coordination
  • Monitoring of participant enrolment
  • Handling participant queries and questions
  • Training room management and booking (internal and external)
  • Classroom set up and support based on specific program needs
  • Program evaluation & reporting
Program Communications
  • Ensure participants and stakeholders are engaged and aware of available site program offerings, including usage of Amgen’s learning platforms
  • New Hire Orientation Events
  • Planning, organizing and execution of day one new hire orientation events for all new joiners
  • Act as a point of contact and “host” providing support for new hires on day one
  • Partner with IS, Facilities, security to ensure new hires receive the appropriate provisioning and access to buildings based on their role

We are looking for a Site Training Coordinator (temporary contract for 12 months) to help us onboard and integrate all new hires to a brand new Amgen Capability Center (ACC) based in Tampa, Florida.
The ACC will provide a broad range of services that support and enable the broader Amgen organization. The main operational services provided by the ACC will center on Information Services, Employee Services and Finance.

Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum 3-5 years administration experience, preferably in a training or event support environment
  • Demonstrates high level of systems administration experience, ideally working with a Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Fluency in English language verbal and written
  • Strong organization and time management skills and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously – getting work done in an effective and efficient way to meet deadlines
  • Project coordination skills
