Day to Day Responsibilities:

Cell culture, including primary cells. Assay development and medium-high throughput screening using automation. Advanced data analysis of high-content screens and other cell-based assays.
 
Summary: 
 
Ideal Candidate has biotech pharma experience with cell assays with 3-5 years of experience. A demonstrated strong background in molecular biology, primary cell culture, and cell-based assays
Experience with siRNA, CRISPR/Cas9, and high-content assays is desirable
Familiarity with commonly used data analysis software packages (Spotfire, Prism, GeneData Screener, etc.)
 
Amgen Genome Analysis Unit is seeking an enthusiastic cell and molecular biologist to join the functional genomics group at our research facility in South San Francisco. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and be able to work independently and as part of cross-disciplinary teams. Responsibilities of this position include the development of cell-based and biochemical assays, use of automation for high-throughput screening, and analysis and communication of results to the research team and department.

Top 3 Must Have Skill Sets:
