Day to Day Responsibilities:     
He or she would be expected to perform assigned protein analysis using a variety of techniques. Results should be analyzed using various software packages and reported into an electronic lab notebook. Success would entail the completion of these deliverables being completed correctly and in a timely manner. This person will be part of a team, so communication with other team members will be key.

Responsibilities may include:
• Analytical techniques in a lab: HPLC/UPLC (analytical chromatography), sub-visible particle analysis by HIAC and MFI, pH, protein concentration, and osmolality measurements
• Follows established experimental design and protocols and performs routine tasks and studies to obtain reproducible and reliable results with limited supervision
• Analyzes and records experiments, and provides interpretation of data
• Communicates data and interpretation to work group
• Adheres to company safety requirements
• Training of other staff

This position requires a Bachelors degree in the Life Sciences or a related field, with 0-2 years of relevant laboratory experience.

Ideal Candidate- Recent grad with Bachelor’s degree in the Life Sciences or a related field, with 0-2 years of relevant laboratory experience. Need to be motivated with a strong desire to learn. Outstanding communication skills, be able to follow procedures, and have great trouble shooting skills. This position involves an understanding and utilization of various analytical methods to support formulation development of protein therapeutics. The candidate will plan and perform laboratory experiments, collect and analyze data, and maintain both laboratory notebooks and computer data files. This position requires the timely documentation, presentation, and discussion of scientific results in an interactive team environment. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required. Due to the fast paced and data intensive environment, the successful candidate will need to be proactive, highly organized, and capable of multi-tasking. The successful candidate will be able to work harmoniously as part of a team, but will also be capable of working independently. Good computer skills are required.
