Day to Day Responsibilities:     
The Project Management Coordinator supports multiple teams, reporting directly to the head of the Talent Management and Analytics team. The coordinator works closely with the team to support administrative needs, assist in project management, communicate with HR colleagues, and ensure appropriate efficiencies and processes are in place to streamline and execute work in a broader effort to execute global Talent team initiatives. The coordinator is responsible for independently coordinating calendared meetings, complex onsite/offsite meetings, leading administrative projects, and providing management with status/activity reports. The coordinator will also support the coordination, planning, and preparation needed to effectively execute Talent team projects with the business. They will be responsible for managing and tracking budgets and also provide oversight of vendor contracts, as needed. They may serve as a project team member and attend core team meetings to ensure an understanding of issues and open items with regards to Talent initiatives. The coordinator will also assist project leads in partnering/liaising with key collaborative partners (e.g., Corporate Communications, HR PMO, Global Learning & Performance, HR Operations) to drive implementation of Talent processes and tools to achieve success. They will also be responsible for taking, transcribing, and distributing meeting minutes, project tracking (i.e., budget, database, timelines), as well as demonstrating the ability to interact with outside vendors and various levels of management.

Basic Educational Requirement:
High-school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in project coordination and support in a corporate environment
• Previous Amgen experience
• Strong knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint in an office setting
• Experience working in Human Resources
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem solving skills
• Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
• Detail-oriented, resourceful and able to manage shifting priorities
• Comfortable using multiple computer systems
• Able to shift gears and work effectively despite ambiguity
• Must be able to recognize priorities and reorganize priorities
