Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • Develop feasible day to day resource planning and daily dashboard updates
  • Independent and know when to ask for help
  • Collaboration with key stakeholders and ensure smooth delivery of artwork by target dates

Key Activities   
  • Principal responsibilities include, but are not restricted to:
  • Artwork Planning
  • Support decision on planning timelines and SLA adherence with various countries in the US, JAPAC and LACAN regions
  • Detailed planning and sequencing of artwork production
  • Balance artwork requirements with available capacity, escalate to Artwork Leader on workload capacity constraints
  • Assign daily work to designers (FTE and outsource)
  • Receives artwork sent back by the designer, places project on hold. and forwards to appropriate artwork strategist for resolution
  • Review status of artwork workflows in Electronic workflow management system
  • Support metrics / Quality Management Systems (Compliance/KPI, Right First Time, Lead Cycle Time)
  • Manage internal timelines towards overall implementation plans
  • Proactive and early communication of plans and progress on plan to Artwork Site Lead
  • Closely monitor poor performing metrics; work with key groups to identify root-causes
  • NPI Project Membership
  • Coordinate implementation with respective functions in process development
Knowledge and Skills   
  • Knowledge of artwork creation, procedures and activities within Artwork center.
  • Ability to relate day-to-day work to business priorities
  • Broad understanding of practices and standards in packaging development and process development environment
  • Knowledge of advanced Excel functions and data analysis
  • Understanding of accurate input for artwork design (e.g. correct source text / format)
Problem Solving
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to solve problems found during review and approval of artworks
  • Develops solutions to a variety of problems of high complexity and escalate accordingly
Autonomy
  • Works under general direction
  • Responsible for on-time delivery of artworks
  • Decision authority on planning timelines and SLA adherence
Contribution
  • Contributes to department by ensuring artworks are delivered per agreed timelines and SLA
  • Successful completion of NPI artwork deliverables
  • On-time completion of CCMS assessment artwork tasks
Education
Master’s degree OR Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of related experience
OR Associate’s degree and 6 years of related experience
OR High school diploma / GED and 8 years of related experience

Preferred Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain concepts, planning tools and dashboard creation
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Experience with project management methodologies
  • Fluent in English, both in oral and written communication
  • Communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate across levels and functions
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical / GMP environment, labeling environment
  • Experience in project work
  • Ability to meet strict timelines
  • Ability to work in an intense and changing environment
  • Able to follow through on tasks and motivate others to meet deadlines
  • Ability to prepare status sheets, reports, document tracking
  • Familiarity with change management, printing processes, graphical or product design
