Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • Managing and organizing recruitment activities and on-boarding new hires across CCOE - Setting and scheduling phone screens and actual interviews - Ensuring proper paperwork is completed - Scheduling and preparing onsite interview days - Preparing status updates on the hiring process
  • Managing individual and team calendars (Outlook)
  • Making travel arrangements & preparing expense reports as necessary (Concur)
  • Performing varied administrative duties
  • Provide backup support to additional department ACs
 
Summary
The role of the contracted Administrative Coordinator (AC) will be primarily responsible for supporting Executive Directors, Directors in a variety of complex administrative support activities aligned to the recruitment, interviewing, hiring and on-boarding process. To facilitate tracking of deliverables and timelines as directed; and to manage the coordination of meeting logistics and other duties as assigned. 
 
Key responsibilities include:

Basic Qualifications: 
Associate’s degree and 2 years of Administrative experience 
OR 
High school diploma/GED and 4 years of Administrative experience 
 
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Amgen experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Experience working in biopharma industry 
  • 5+ years of experience in an administrative support role supporting large teams at different levels 
  • Managing multiple calendars including coordination 
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills in communicating key business and clinical information 
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (i.e. word processing, presentations, and spreadsheet skills) as well as Cognos, SharePoint, and the Learning Management System at Amgen 
  • Experience providing administrative support to remote staff 
  • Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment 
  • Discretion in dealing with proprietary information
