Day to Day Responsibilities:     
Make modifications to Tableau dashboards to comply with visualization requirements. Create basic documentation to capture and communicate changes and modifications made to Tableau dashboards. Interface with Business Analysts (BA) and contractors to understand requirements where applicable in order to effect Tableau dashboard updates.

Summary:
This role employs entry level programming and design techniques that ensure adherence to software development standards, performance efficiency, reliable and maintainable code, and self-documenting programs. Must have a basic understanding of application development methodologies and techniques. Drafts and updates detailed project plans for small projects or portions of larger projects. Assists in testing, debugging, maintaining, and documenting components of information systems applications. Understands basic business processes and transforms them into programming logic. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.  Skills: Experience on a project team, and an FDA-regulated industry (pharmaceutical, food, cosmetics) preferred

Work in a team environment to produce final dashboard visualizations for consumption by various levels of management and upper management. A strong background in mathematics or engineering is needed to understand objectives and where applicable, the data calculations within the visualization tools. Strong interpersonal and communication skills is a must to be able to receive and communicate requirements and provide updates regarding the work completed by the individual; work with Business Analysts and possibly other client groups when reviewing and verifying requirements. Dashboard visualization work requires a detail oriented individual to ensure consistent and standardized “look and feel” of final products. Ability to document, track and communicate problems and risks encountered while working with visualization tools or when errors are discovered in requirements.

Preferred Skills:
candidate has past experience with SQL, MS Access, BI Systems (Spotfire, Tableau, Power BI), Excel and SharePoint. Past Amgen experience is also a preferred.
