Must Have Skill Sets:     
  • Must have considerable SAP (SD, MM and WM modules) technology consulting experience OR At least 2 full-cycle SAP implementation experience
  • Strong end-to-end supply chain knowledge or expertise - this person should have worked in some business domain - the manager wants to be sure this person supported supply chain in SAP
  • Experienced in business process analysis; Ability to lead the planning, design and implementation of IS projects - This person will work as a liaison between IS and supply chain Overall 5 to 6 years of SAP and supply chain experience, technology consulting experience will be a plus
Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • Requirements gathering for specific IS needs especially SAP related enhancements Requirements documentation to our standard templates (i.e. BRD, Other templates)
  • Tracking and update of on-going IS projects and enhancements to the SAP release schedules or project timelines; identify and mitigate delivery risks; identify out of scope/new business requirements and formulate a plan to implement the solution based on project time lines and business priorities
  • Support the Supply Chain business organization across various transformational IS initiatives
  • Serve as an intermediary between the business and the technical communities working with IS project teams and business clients to collect, clarify, and translate business requirements into documentation using appropriate tools and models, research new applications and services to improve business capabilities
  • Partner with business and technology partners to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business requirements into functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Establish and maintain a positive business relationships with managers and client base, as well as, consistently demonstrating a thorough understanding of the customer's business, their processes and priorities, while using 'state-of-the-art' techniques to ensure that system and business cohesiveness meet current and future requirements
  • Perform cross system analysis, feasibility analysis, scope projects, prioritize deliverables, and recommend optimal solutions
  • Gain an understanding of the current business process with minimal resources to support day-to-day operations and obtain an understanding of the 'to-be' business process and assist in the alignment of technology to facilitate these business processes
  • Prepare complex documentation impacting major projects, maintain and demonstrate knowledge of resources throughout multiple department/functional areas, facilitate process mapping sessions for highly complex, multi-functional business processes and demonstrate advanced communication techniques in the facilitation of conflict resolution and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills; ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities;
  • Demonstrates an urgency to achieve goals and can be relied upon to deliver results with very minimal supervision; ability to handle varying amounts of information, distill key points drawing practical conclusions translating into a strong business case and clear business requirements.
  • Manage multiple initiatives and priorities and take accountability of delivery of technical solutions to business
  • Excellent communication skills: oral, written, presentation, facilitation and interpersonal; maintain and build client relationships; negotiate with and influence clients to achieve optimal business results; ability to effectively work with others with a diversity of communication styles and technical areas of expertise
  • Manage third party vendors and other contingent workers (if needed)
  • Articulate in-scope and out-of-scope business requirements with the business and bridge the requirements gap by identifying a new plan in order to fulfil the new requirements based on business priorities while not impacting on-going project schedules/timelines
  • Proactively identify on-going IS project risks
Computer knowledge/skills:
Windows XP, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Visio (versions 2000 or higher)
