Day to Day Responsibilities:  
  • Responsible for overall execution of QC Lab Systems Segmentation project at various Amgen manufacturing sites within Operations Cyber Resilience.
  • Status reporting and stability of Project oriented work efforts.
  • Establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies for the IT & QC user community to ensure project is delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.
  • Responsible for assembling project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality review; and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately.
  • Responsible for tracking key Project milestones, risks and adjusting Project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of customers.
  • Gathers requirements and documents URS & FRS; obtaining approvals from respective stakeholders.
  • Coordinating design and build activities during project execution and ensuring the completion of various functional and technical artifacts and seeking approvals.
  • Leading/coordinating testing/qualifying activities along with ensuring the creation and approval of test artifacts.
  • Coordinates communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managed.
  • Schedules and conducts weekly, monthly, ad-hoc meetings, sends meeting minutes, maintains SharePoint site with right content/documents, Assists Project/program Manager(s) in partnering with senior management of the business community to identify and prioritize opportunities for utilizing IT to achieve the goals of the enterprise.
  • Manages one or more cross-functional projects of medium to high complexity.
  • Must possess thorough understanding of QC Lab Systems (i.e., LMES, LIMS, CIMS, CDS (Empower))
  • Prior Amgen experience in Quality IS
  • Understands cyber security and infrastructure aspects of IT applications (i.e., network segmentation, firewalls, backup and restore, disaster recovery processes, storage, etc.)
  • Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of SDLC, PMLC (Project management methodologies and tools), resource management practices and change management techniques as related to the Biopharmaceutical Industry.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and sufficient subject matter expertise to be able to communicate effectively with Quality, Operations and IS leadership.
  • High learning agility, innovation, and problem-solving skills with ability to lead, manage and develop staff members.
  • PMP Certification & demonstrated track record of delivering innovative IS and infrastructure solutions in a Biotech/Pharma.
