The External Relationship Management team within the Translational Sciences Operations department is seeking an enthusiastic and result-oriented Project Manager, Alliances to manage partnerships with key in vitro diagnostic (IVD) companies that are critical to transitioning exploratory biomarkers to marketed IVDs.

The Project Manager, Alliances will work closely with leads in the Clinical Biomarkers and Diagnostics Department and will be responsible for managing the partnership lifecycle, including the formation of governance structures, maintaining and growing strategic alignment during the IVD research and development phases.

Key responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate contractual implementation activities between the internal project team and external partner stakeholders
  • Align internal key stakeholders to meet milestones and deliverables according to the partnership agreement
  • Administer the governance structure of the relationship
  • Serve as the primary point of communication for partners, facilitating efficient and effective communication with the partner and aiming at strengthening individual and organizational relationships between the companies
  • Identifies areas of discordant expectations between organizations and works to resolve them
  • Escalate internal or external issues that could damage partnership health or cause a missed milestone/deliverable to ensure resolution
  • Seek to understand cultural similarities and differences between organizations and uses the knowledge to improve working mechanisms between teams
  • Monitor results against key performance indicators and communicates results internally

Basic Qualifications:
Master's degree in a scientific discipline with a minimum of 3-year industry experience in alliance management, project management, or other role with significant partnering responsibilities
Or
Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline with a minimum of 5-year industry experience in alliance management, project management, or other role with significant partnering responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications:
