Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • As necessary day to day responsibilities can include any of the following Presentations Core Team Meeting Status Reports for all sub workstreams (agree to a standard format) Track critical path activities and major milestones Track DAIR (Decisions, Actions, Issues, Risks) Develop detailed project plans for initiative Support RDO/Initiative Methodology Requirements (i.e. Shibumi)
  • Managing calendars and scheduling meetings for initiative Assist with Special Projects
  • Meeting Support: Weekly Standup Meetings
  • Meeting Support: Workshop (partnership with RDO Liaison) Organizing meeting rooms, including logistics, catering and equipment needs Assisting with preparation of presentations, meeting agendas and follow-up actions/notes Action Tracker (reminder notifications)

Provides program management support to the Amgen Full Potential (AFP) Enable a Flexible External Workforce initiative team, and is accountable to the Initiative Lead. The role is visible to and has interactions with cross-functional stakeholders involved in, or impacted by, the initiative. Responsibilities will include development, initiation, planning, execution, control and closing of initiative and work stream projects, according to the defined PM and AFP program methodology.
Responsible for overall management, status reporting and stability of project oriented work efforts. Establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies for the initiative to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations. Responsible for assembling project plans and workstream assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts daily, identifying resource needs, performing quality review; and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately. Partner with Project Coordinator in tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of workstream leads. Coordinates communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managed. Assists Program Coordinator in partnering with senior management of the business community to identify and prioritize opportunities for utilizing IT to achieve the goals of the enterprise. Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques. Ability to translate IT activities into business language. Holds responsibility for coordination across multiple functions and platforms, with a keen awareness of overall impact to the enterprise.
