Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • Provide executive level support to Vice President that oversees a large staff
  • Continuous interaction with senior-level executives and outside visitors
  • Manage executive’s calendar
  • Handle domestic and international travel arrangements for executive
  • Process expense reports in accordance with company polices
  • Monitor executive’s email inbox and address/re-direct emails as necessary
  • Conserve executive’s time by acting as a delegate within certain Amgen systems and processes
  • Point of contact between executive and her senior leadership team
  • Plan bi-monthly senior leadership team meetings including coordinating agenda and follow-up action items
Summary:
  • The main function of an executive assistant is to provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, handling information requests and performing various administrative functions.
Skills:
  • Verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
  • Strong ability to keep information organized and confidential.
  • Top skills in Outlook, Word, Powerpoint and Excel
Education/Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 8-10 years administrative experience required.
  • Experience working with executives required.
