Day to Day Responsibilities:            
Day-to-day responsibility will vary but the PM should plan on overseeing various long-term, short-term and ad hoc projects/request.

Summary:
Proven experience as a member and leader of a high performing cross-functional teams; 4+ years’ experience in biotechnology / pharmaceutical industry AND / OR Big Four Consulting
Display a pragmatic, consultative approach combined with familiarity in project management; must have demonstrated decision-making skills
A self-starter who is organized, intuitive and a collaborative problem-solver with the ability to be effective in a dynamic and fast-paced environment; demonstrated ability to bring structure to vaguely defined problems
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and written to all levels of an organization - proficient in using and / or describing the benefit of project management methodology and tools
Strong quantitative and qualitative analytic skills, including budget analysis and reporting
Work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship
Looking to work 40-hours a week, onsite in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Ability to travel: Domestic and International ~5-15%

Overview:
Amgen’s, Digital Integration and Predictive Technologies (DIPT) team is searching for an experienced Project Manager (PM).
DIPT is tasked with helping find ways to harness Amgen’s data.
DIPT falls within Process Development (PD) and is responsible for developing and deploying state of the art advanced computational technologies.
This PM role is focused on improving DIPTs performance, primarily through the thorough analysis of existing business problems, project management and the programs for improvement.
Also, this role supports initiatives related to strategy development and overall operations.
Simply said, your success is empowering DIPT’s scientist to do what they do best science.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Program Management:
Effectively collaborate and coordinate with Amgen project teams in the execution of key programs
Prioritize and manage multiple task at any one time with excellent follow through

Operational Excellence:
Advise and collaborate with DIPT leadership and other key stakeholders in order to keep projects moving forward
Builds and maintain relationships with internal and external counterparts
Demonstrated organization management experience
