Supply Chain Senior Manager

Employment Type: Contingent Worker (Contract, W2)

Contract Length: 12 months

Compensation: $48/$56 per hour (based on experience)

Summary of the Role

Join a big biopharma leader as a Supplier Collaboration Specialist, serving as the bridge between suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain processes. You'll help design, implement, and support digital supplier collaboration capabilities, foster process improvement, and enable stronger partnerships within the supply chain. This role drives automation, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement to ensure seamless supply network performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary contact for suppliers and manufacturing sites on collaboration processes, systems, and transactions
  • Support supplier onboarding and enablement for EDI, delivery schedules, commitments, ASNs, barcode labels, and invoicing
  • Partner with suppliers to resolve process, system, and data-quality issues and promote compliance
  • Assist in documenting requirements, system enhancements, UAT, implementation, and post-launch support
  • Troubleshoot issues across the procure-to-pay and supply chain processes with business and IT teams
  • Coordinate with sites, logistics, and 3PLs to implement and maintain automated ASN and receiving solutions
  • Develop and deliver training, SOPs, and materials for suppliers and internal users; ensure documentation is up-to-date
  • Lead and coordinate small to medium process improvement projects and digital enablement initiatives
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on supplier collaboration KPIs; identify performance gaps and lead corrective actions
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings to resolve issues and support process improvements

Required Experience & Skills

  • Experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Supplier Management, Manufacturing Operations, or related functions
  • Experience supporting business processes and enterprise systems in a manufacturing or supply chain environment
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex system and process issues and coordinate resolutions
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with internal and external partners

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP or other ERP platforms
  • Knowledge of EDI and B2B supplier integration concepts and transactions
  • Experience with Advanced Ship Notices (ASN), barcode labeling, automated receiving, electronic invoicing, and procure-to-pay processes
  • Experience working with suppliers, transportation carriers, and 3PL providers
  • Experience with system implementations, enhancements, testing, or UAT
  • Regarded experience developing SOPs, work instructions, and training materials
  • Experience leading cross-functional process improvement or technology projects
  • Familiarity with supply chain performance metrics, dashboards, and data analysis tools
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies

Top 3 Must Have Skills

1. Experience with SAP or other ERP platforms

3. Experience with Advanced Ship Notices (ASN), barcode labeling, automated receiving, electronic invoicing, and procure-to-pay processes

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Act as main contact for supplier collaboration issues and inquiries
  • Support onboarding, enablement, and troubleshooting with suppliers and sites
  • Define and document requirements for process and system improvements
  • Facilitate and deliver end-user trainings and maintain updated SOPs
  • Analyze performance metrics and drive improvements in supplier collaboration outcomes

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Systems, Logistics, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
