Corporate Affairs Senior Manager

Employment Type: Contingent Worker (Contract, W2)

Contract Length: 7 months (possible extension)

Compensation: Open Market Rate (based on experience)

Summary of the Role

Join a big biopharma leader as a temporary Senior Manager, HR Communications. In this high-impact role, you'll support key HR communications priorities such as benefits change announcements and employee value proposition initiatives. Collaborate closely with HR and Corporate Affairs teams to create and deliver strategic, clear communications for employees and leaders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver effective internal communications in partnership with HR and Corporate Affairs leaders
  • Develop and coordinate content for major company initiatives including employee value proposition and annual benefits enrollment
  • Manage communications for HR technology changes, workforce strategy, and organization-wide announcements
  • Advise HR partners on communication strategy, audience, channels, timing, and calls-to-action
  • Draft, edit, proofread, and coordinate messages across multiple channels including email, Teams, intranet, presentations, and digital signage
  • Oversee stakeholder and communications-calendar coordination for large employee audiences
  • Ensure all materials are clear, accurate, on brand, and compliant with internal standards
  • Support communications for leadership, employee meetings, and change management initiatives

Required Experience & Skills

  • Experience in internal and employee communications with strong writing, editing, and channel strategy skills
  • Demonstrated capability to communicate complex HR, benefits, policy, or organizational changes to large employee audiences
  • Proven track record in strategic stakeholder management and advising senior leaders in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver clear, actionable communications
  • Strong partnership skills with cross-functional teams and HR stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous HR communications experience strongly preferred
  • Background in employee communications also considered

1. Excellent internal and employee communications skills (writing, editing, channel strategy)

2. Experience with HR and change communications for large employee audiences

3. Strategic stakeholder management with the ability to advise senior leaders

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Support planning and delivery of communications for key company initiatives
  • Develop and coordinate employee benefits program communications across channels
  • Draft and edit content for changes in benefits, HR programs, and employee services
  • Advise on strategy, timing, and channels for effective messaging
  • Coordinate plans and calendars for well-timed, aligned messages
  • Support leadership and change communications as needed

Basic Qualifications

  • Doctorate degree and 2 years of experience
  • Master’s degree and 4 years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of experience
  • Associate’s degree and 10 years of experience
  • High school diploma / GED and 12 years of experience
