MCS Supply Chain Associate NS

Location: Onsite - Thousand Oaks, CA (PST preferred)

Employment Type: Contingent Worker (Contract, W2)

Contract Length: 4 months (possible extension)

Compensation: $27/$31 per hour (based on experience)

Summary of the Role

Join the Dispensing team at a large biotech pharmaceutical leader, supporting timely and accurate processing, picking, staging, and delivery of critical materials used in manufacturing. This fast-paced onsite warehouse position demands strict compliance with cGMP, Good Documentation Practices, and SOPs. You'll work rotating shifts, help ensure uninterrupted production, and contribute to operational excellence across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures and department protocols while strictly adhering to cGMP requirements
  • Process, pick, dispense, stage, and deliver materials for biomanufacturing operations
  • Operate Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIVs) safely in a warehouse environment (training provided)
  • Gown to Grade 8-9 and work in classified dispensary and cleanroom-adjacent areas
  • Identify, escalate, and help resolve risks related to dispensing, warehousing, or manufacturing support
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete warehousing and dispensing activities
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, safety programs, and team operational projects
  • Assist during regulatory inspections and present information to auditors when required
  • Maintain Kanban systems for consumables and support external warehouse operations
  • Complete timely, accurate transactions in compliance with procedures

Required Experience & Skills

  • Availability to work rotating day, swing, weekend, and holiday shifts based on production needs
  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Ability to perform physical work, including lifting up to 35 lbs. and using material handling equipment
  • Proficient math skills
  • Commitment to safe work practices
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
  • Willingness to work in onsite warehouse and cleanroom-adjacent environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • College degree
  • GMP/GDP experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Dispensing, or Warehousing
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience supporting documentation revisions in CDOCS
  • Knowledge of DQMS and QMTS systems for deviation investigations and CAPA ownership
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Powered Industrial Vehicle operation experience
  • Familiarity with scales and weighing operations
  • Experience gathering metrics, preparing reports, and presenting findings to management
  • Experience supporting operational excellence projects
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, Smartsheet, Microsoft Teams

Top 3 Must Have Skills

1. Pharmaceutical GMP/GDP experience

2. Experience with Microsoft Office, ERP/MES, AI tools

3. Manufacturing or supply chain experience

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

  • High school/GED and 2 years work or military experience
  • Associates and 6 months work or military experience
