Knowledge Management Sr Manager

Summary of the Role

Join a large biotech pharmaceutical leader’s R&D Knowledge Management team as a senior Digital Product Manager, focused on enhancing and evolving enterprise knowledge platforms within a regulated environment. You will own the product roadmap for SharePoint-based knowledge repositories supporting clinical trial transformation, translating business needs into scalable solutions. This fully remote, one-year contract position is ideal for those with hands-on experience in knowledge management and digital product ownership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and drive product strategy, roadmaps, and vision for enterprise knowledge platforms
  • Conduct user experience research to inform actionable product features and UI design
  • Develop user stories, collaborate closely with technology teams, and oversee feature delivery and testing
  • Architect content management lifecycles, information architecture (including taxonomies, metadata), and governance
  • Integrate and operationalize AI-powered features into KM products and workflows
  • Lead change management initiatives: rollout, training, communications, onboarding, and stakeholder engagement
  • Track KPIs and gather feedback for continuous product improvement
  • Apply best practices across knowledge repositories (e.g., SharePoint), discovery systems, and knowledge graphs

Required Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with digital platforms and AI in a knowledge management context
  • Significant experience with SharePoint, content management platforms, and enterprise search
  • Proven stakeholder engagement, communication, and product management capabilities
  • Demonstrated application of human centered design principles
  • Independently driven product roadmaps and delivery in regulated environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in pharma, R&D, or clinical trial environments

Top 3 Must Have Skills

1. 5+ years of experience with digital platforms and AI within knowledge management, including SharePoint and enterprise content repositories

2. Strong stakeholder engagement and human centered product management skills

3. Experience (ideally) in a pharma R&D context

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the enterprise knowledge management product roadmap, strategy, and features
  • Engage with users and business stakeholders, translate needs into digital products
  • Collaborate with technology teams to deliver and test new features and enhancements
  • Define and implement content and knowledge architecture, governance, and information lifecycles
  • Partner on operationalizing AI features and workflows in KM platforms
  • Lead change management, training, rollout, and continuous metric tracking for improvement
