Summary of the Role
Join a large biotech pharmaceutical leader to design and deliver competency-based learning that moves R&D staff from trained to proficient quickly. As an individual contributor, you’ll assess needs, create/curate content, and implement measurable learning programs across Clinical Trial Execution, Biostatistics, Regulatory, and Safety in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with client groups to assess learning needs; translate into objectives, curricula, and learning plans
Design, develop, and implement adult-learning programs for onboarding, upskilling, and transformation initiatives
Create/curate training content; coordinate with internal/external content creators
Define and maintain knowledge & learning KPIs; measure immediate and long-term impact
Build dashboards/analytics for learning outcomes using Tableau/Power BI/Spotfire
Collaborate with training partners and stakeholders to ensure alignment and adoption
Document approaches, outcomes, and improvements; operate with minimal supervision
Required Experience & Skills
BS/BA and 5+ years relevant experience, or MS and 3+ years (adult learning for healthcare strongly preferred)
Proven experience designing, implementing, and maintaining learning KPIs and analytics
Proficiency with Tableau, Power BI, Spotfire and strong Microsoft 365 skills
Ability to work independently, prioritize, and deliver in ambiguous, fast-paced settings
Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and facilitation skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience delivering role-based learning within Medical, Regulatory, or Pharmacovigilance functions
Background partnering with R&D teams (clinical ops, data management, biostats, regulatory, safety)
Top 3 Must Have Skills
Proactive self-starter; minimal direction/on-the-job training required
Hands-on adult-learning design/implementation in healthcare (Medical/Regulatory/Pharmacovigilance)
Ability to partner with Knowledge & Learning to identify critical roles/competencies, baseline proficiency, run skill assessments, and build continuing learning plans
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Assess needs; design curricula; develop learning assets and metrics
Partner with stakeholders and content creators; implement and track learning plans
Report on KPI outcomes and iterate programs for impact
Basic Qualifications
Doctorate degree, OR
Master’s degree and 2 years of experience, OR
Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience, OR
Associate degree and 10 years of experience, OR
High school diploma/GED and 12 years of experience
