Location: Onsite - Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM (Thousand Oaks, CA)

Compensation: $35 – $40 per hour (based on experience)
Summary of the Role
Join a large biotech pharmaceutical leader supporting the GD Americas Hub. You’ll execute GDP/GMP distribution processes, manage outbound/inbound schedules, maintain KPIs and documentation, and drive compliance and continuous improvement—operating independently and partnering across cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Execute GDP/GMP business processes for the GD Americas Hub with minimal supervision
Plan and manage outbound/inbound distribution schedules; prioritize appropriately
Create shipping documents, book couriers, and manage shipping supplies
Track and report distribution budget performance
Develop and maintain KPIs/metrics for area management
Author/maintain SOPs, forms, and business documents; support training materials for the hub
Train new staff; lead/facilitate cross-functional meetings to optimize processes
Own/support Deviations/CAPAs, root cause assessments, and change control records
Required Experience & Skills
SAP proficiency; strong MS Office skills
Excellent written/verbal communication; ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues via email promptly
Strong time management; proven ability to excel with minimal supervision
Comfortable leading/participating in cross-functional projects; compliance mindset
Preferred Qualifications
Quick learner with continuous improvement mindset
Strong analytical reasoning and problem solving; attention to detail
Understanding of regulatory guidelines impacting supply (e.g., GxP, SOX)
Familiarity with clinical study conduct; ability to work in matrixed teams
Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Spotfire), CDOCS, QMTS
CMIS, PMP and/or CPIM certification
Top 3 Must Have Skills
SAP experience
Excellent communication (incl. email troubleshooting)
Time management/ability to work independently
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Run daily distribution operations (docs, bookings, supplies) and maintain schedules
Maintain KPIs, budget tracking, and compliance records (deviations/CAPAs/change control)
Lead/participate in cross-functional problem solving and process improvements
Basic Qualifications
Master’s degree, OR
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of Life Science or Business experience (preferably in biotech/pharma), OR
Associate’s degree and 6 years of Life Science or Business experience (preferably in biotech/pharma), OR
High school diploma/GED and 8 years of Life Science or Business experience (preferably in biotech/pharma)
