Supply Chain Sr. Associate

Fully onsite – Thousand Oaks, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Join a large biotech pharmaceutical leader supporting the GD America’s Hub. This role ensures GDP/GMP-compliant distribution processes, manages compliance-related activities, and leads or supports cross-functional initiatives. The position requires SAP experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to excel with minimal supervision.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Support business processes and continuous improvements for GD America’s Hub

  • Execute GDP/GMP business processes with minimal supervision

  • Manage outbound and inbound distribution schedules, including creation of shipping documents, booking couriers, and managing shipping supplies

  • Track distribution budget and maintain key KPIs and metrics

  • Develop and maintain training materials, SOPs, forms, and business documents

  • Provide training to new staff

  • Represent GD America’s Hub in cross-functional meetings to optimize processes

  • Own or support deviations, CAPAs, root cause assessments, and change control records

  • Ensure product supply through a compliant distribution model

  • Maintain two-way communication with internal and external customers

  • Advance departmental goals and key initiatives
     

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree, OR

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of Life Science or Business experience (preferably in pharma/biotech), OR

  • Associate’s degree and 6 years of Life Science or Business experience, OR

  • High school diploma/GED and 8 years of Life Science or Business experience
     

Minimum Requirements:

  • SAP experience (required)

  • Strong English communication skills (oral and written)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Excellent time management and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project management experience

  • Continuous improvement mindset with strong problem-solving skills

  • Effective communication, facilitation, and negotiation abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines impacting supply (GxP, SOX)

  • Familiarity with clinical study conduct

  • Advanced skills in SAP, CDOCS, QMTS, and data visualization (Tableau, Power BI, Spotfire)

  • PMP and/or CPIM certification
     

Top 3 Must Have Skills:

  1. SAP experience

  2. Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills

  3. Strong time management and ability to excel independently
     

Pay Rate between $35 - $40/hr on W2 based on experience.
