Note:
- Onsite at Holly Springs, North Carolina facility.
- Candidate will need to report onsite Monday - Friday 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM standard business hours.
- Candidates must be local to Holly Springs NC.
- This is a Lab Startup and will be a dynamic environment. No specific certification requirements but nice to have.
- General Process Development Lab Support
Primary objective of role:
- Ability to independently perform data entry and other general duties for Amgen Process Development. [Training will be provided.
- Performs and maintains timely and accurate documentation and records.
- Serve as vendor escort for equipment installation.
- Routine laboratory support functions including: ordering, stocking, and distributing supplies and equipment; arranging and dismantling apparatus; and collecting, washing, and storing glassware.
- Perform standard technical procedures such as preparing routine solutions and reagents.
Depending on aptitude and desire to learn, role may expand to include:
- Makes and records observations; performs simple calculations; and collects and prepares data for evaluation.
- Cell Culture and Purification benchtop operations and sample analysis.
Nice to have:
- At lease 2-3 years in a Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical company.
- Experience with 5S organizational methods.
- Experience using Asset or Inventory Management Tools/Software.
- Working with analytic instrumentation (balances, pH, conductivity, Osmometer and BGA), Laminar Flow Hood, Autoclave, Parts Washer.
- Solution preparation.
