3 month contract with the possibility of extension.
Top 3 Must Have Skill Sets:
- Optimize and perform routine cell-based assays to support lead identification and mechanism-of-action studies in the development of new therapeutic agents
- Semi-independently plan and implement experiments, adapt readily to changing project needs and develop sophisticated problem-identification and problem resolution skills
- Maintain proficiency with the latest scientific literature and rationale surrounding drug targets and be an active contributor to the interpretation of results in group discussions
- Show excellent collaboration and communication skills as this role requires an ability to work closely with other scientists in the group and across company
- Adherence to good laboratory conduct, documentation practices, and safety guidelines
Basic Qualifications:
- Ph.D. degree training in cell and/or molecular biology or closely related field
- Master's degree and 2+ years relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a biopharmaceutical setting and desire to work in cross-functional environments
- Track record of developing, implementing, and performing cell-based screening assays in microtiter plates to support early drug discovery research
- Experience and understanding in methods for the analysis of cells (live-cell imaging, flow cytometry), proteins (HTRF, MSD, ELISA, western blot), and RNA (RT-qPCR, NGS)
- Subject-matter expertise in induced-proximity therapeutics, targeted protein degradation, or the ubiquitin-proteasome system
- Excellent time management skills and ability to establish priorities and meet timelines
- Familiarity with software and statistical platforms for data analysis (Graph Pad Prism, R)
Pay Rate between $37 - $40/Hr on W2 based on experience.
