Sr Associate Master Data Management

- SAP / Material Master Data experience HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Multi-task, managing multiple activities simultaneously
- Organizational skills/detail oriented/ time management
- Communication skills written/verbal

- Expertise in SQL, Excel and Tableau or like platforms big plus
- Manage the entry and maintenance of Basic and Quality Data elements which includes but is not limited to Commercial, Clinical, and Raw Material Masters and Material Requests in SAP
- Provide process and system guidance and training to department staff and maintain Global Master Data training material.
- Extract, compile and interpret data relevant for periodic metrics and reporting needs.
- Provide continued Master Data leadership in managing core data needs.
- Upholds global master data governance process.
- Support or manage process improvement initiatives and projects.
- Provide business process guidance to internal clients on the workflow process.
- Apply analytical skills to evaluate and interpret complex situations/problems using multiple sources of information.
- Participate in BPO’s global forum.
- Test SAP functionality, support ERP releases.
- Monitor functional area data quality reports and identify revisions to data quality reports, to proactively prevent, identify, monitor, and correct master data errors.
- Accountable for achieving data accuracy targets and service level agreements
- Needs additional help outside of training and 1:1
- Lack of organizational skills.
- Not system savvy.
- Lack of strong communication skills...this role partners with key Amgen staff from all Regions and Corporate functions, and Sites.
